Pop Star Jewels

Today we are at the youngest point of the new year, so let’s take a look at one of the youngest jewelry designers.  Connie Talbot is a teenager whose name has come up a lot in the media since 2007. At six years old, this British girl was one of the youngest people to reach the finals in the hit show Britain’s Got Talent. It seems “youngest to…” is a title she enjoys because only two years later she became one of the youngest jewelry designers, thanks to her collaboration with Jubili Beads and Yarn.

The beaded necklaces and bracelets she designs are brightly colorful, great for adolescents and pre-teens looking for casual accessories. Every piece of ConnieGirl Jewelry has attached a tricolored rainbow charm with Connie’s name (and a flower to dot the “I”). A portion of her profits goes to Toys for Tots, a program that distributes holiday gifts to children whose parents can’t afford them. Connie is a teenager now, but we doubt “old age” will deter her from continuing to make waves!
